Me asking to someone,
"Some people are trying to stay close. It's like everybody else is in the game and I'm just sitting on the bench. I mean, am I not good enough for God to use?? What is God's calling for me??"
And someone said,
"That's the problem of calling.. Too often we think of it as something we're meant to do, when really it's something we're meant to be.. Okay, God may have seemingly random assignments for us to do, all through our lives, but they're only going to make sense from the person He's made you to be.. So, how do you know He's not using you?? I get that you feel like you're on the bench while your friends are in the game, but if that is where God ask you to has just sit on the bench in obedience. Somehow, what you're doing will work into what He has for you in the future.. Trust in God's timing until then, all you can do is being obedient.. So then in this moment, when you're asking a lot of questions that you'll never have the answer to, the most important question is: Who is God asking me to be??, not: What is God asking me to do?? :-) Because God's calling isn't always about to do something, but also to be something, to be obedient and find the fulfillment in God's desires in our character nor our works :-D"
